Rootz Obtains License in Germany

Germany passed the State Treaty on Gambling in 2021 and continues to move forward with awarding licenses to leading brands. The country works on creating the conditions for the operation of slots across the state. The laws particularly focus on the player and minors’ protection.

Maltese company, Rootz, has already met the requirements of the State Treaty and the company has received the license to operate slot machines in the state.

Commenting on the latest step, the platform announced the statement:

“With this, the company is expected to establish three safe and legal offers on the German gaming market, which comply in particular with the necessary youth and player protection, and thoroughly meet all technical specifications,” a statement from the company read.”

Lasse Rantala, CEO of Rootz, notes that the company is very pleased to meet the strict requirements of the new State Treaty on Gambling with wildz.de, wheelzgames.de, and spinz.de and to present its brands nationwide in autumn 2022.
