NetEnt Available in Michigan After Exclusive Entry in iGaming Market

Well-known provider of live dealer content, NetEnt, has just gone live in the Michigan gaming market, further extending its presence in new jurisdictions. The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has just approved online gaming and sports betting across the state, and this will be another opportunity for the brand to expand its footprint.

After the opening of the casino market in Michigan, several operators, including BetRivers/RSI, BetMGM, Churchill Downs, DraftKings, FanDuel, Golden Nugget, William Hill, and WynnBET, will offer best in class games from the provider starting from January 22nd. It means that local customers will have the possibility to select from hit releases such as Starburst, Blackjack, and Divine Fortune.

Speaking on the latest move, Evolution Commercial Director for North America, Jeff Millar said:

“Friday’s successful launch with multiple operators is the result of months of planning for Michigan’s go-live and years of on-the-ground experience in the US. America is an absolute priority market for Evolution Group, which is reflected by the scale of NetEnt’s first-day presence in Michigan.”

Evolution Gaming has recently acquired 90% of NetEnt stakes, and this will be the right move for the company to expand the reach in the US.

NetEnt games are already available in New Jersey (ever since 2015), Pennsylvania (as of 2019), and West Virginia (starting from 2020). Evolution will soon open its live studio in Michigan, extending its capacity to three studios in the country (besides New Jersey and Pennsylvania). The company runs activity from additional 11 studios on the global level, and it will look to bolster the presence even more.
