Evolution Gaming Signed A US-Wide Agreement With BetMGM

The world’s largest and most renowned provider of live casino solutions Evolution Gaming has penned a US-wide deal with New Jersey-based BetMGM, market-leading sports betting and gaming platform created by the joint venture between MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings. Under the agreement, Evolution’s live dealer tables will be available across BetMGM’s brands in the US.

The latest agreement is intended to expand the existing range of live tables delivered for BetMGM in New Jersey by Ezugi, which became part of Evolution Gaming in January 2019. Since its inception in July 2018, BetMGM has taken advantage of the new opportunities created by the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the U.S. federal Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA).

As stated in the press release…

…the deal initially will see Evo’s blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and other brick-and-mortar classics and a range of its exciting show-style games available to BetMGM’s audience, as well as customers of sister brands Borgata Online and Party Casino. Naturally, all games will be streamed from Evolution’s ground-breaking studio in New Jersey.

Commenting on the agreement, Johan Nordstrom, Chief Executive Officer at Evolution Gaming Malta, stated:

Evolution has big plans in terms of further cooperation with BetMGM brands. The future partnership aims to make sure that they are among the first in the market in Pennsylvania and Michigan, with the upcoming launches of Evolution’s studios in these two states being part of the plan.

GVC Holdings is one of the world’s biggest sports betting and gaming groups, which operates both online and in the retail sector. It boasts a comprehensive portfolio of well-established brands including such global favorites as bwin, Coral, Ladbrokes, PartyCasino, CasinoClub, Foxy Bingo, Gala, and partypoker.

After acquiring Ladbrokes Coral in March 2018, the Group is now the UK’s largest high-street bookmaker. Licensed in more than 20 countries across five continents, it owns proprietary technology to power its core product verticals. Established in close collaboration with MGM Resorts International, BetMGM is a very important segment of GVC’s portfolio.
