Bragg Gaming, a successful iGaming content supplier, has decided to add Paul Godfrey to their board of directors, with the task of guiding the company’s strategy in Canada.
Godfrey is a former politician and he also was the chairman of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, the state-owned gambling company. He also had other important business roles during his career, including the position of chief executive at Toronto Sun Publishing.
Bragg Gaming was founded in Toronto in 2004 and it is a B2B online gaming solution provider. The company offers turnkey solutions for online and mobile iGaming platforms, along with casino content sportsbook solutions, marketing and operational services.
The new Bragg Gaming board member was also the founder of Postmedia, a Canada-facing media conglomerate, of which he is still the chairman. He also serves as chairman of the board of trustees at RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust and is also a board member at Cargojet, a Canadian airline.
During the earlier phase of his career, Godfrey was chief executive of the Toronto Blue Jays, the popular Major League Baseball franchise. Before getting into the business career, he was an alderman and then chairman of Metropolitan Toronto.
