Playtech, one of the world’s most powerful providers of slot games and live dealer games for online casinos, has announced that its deal with Sony Pictures Television was extended for another two years and expanded to cover new territories, including Canada.

The initial agreement was announced in March 2021 and before the end of that year Playtech unveiled the first product resulting from it: “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” Live Roulette. The game was obviously based on the famous television show that has been adapted and broadcast in over 120 countries all around the world. Moreover, at that time Playtech indicated that it was just the first game of a series of three titles that were going to be developed in partnership with Sony Pictures Television.

“Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” Live Roulette allows players to take part in the game even when they do not have an actual active bet because the game has a “Millionaire Round”, in which players can just guess the outcome and play for fun.

The game also includes the well-known and loved features from the television show: 50/50 and Ask the Audience. There is also a new feature called Ask the Host, which gives players the chance to have incorrect answers removed based on the level of question they have reached.

After “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” Live Roulette the developer unveiled Live Trivia and the latest addition to the series was Video Poker Live, both based on the famous television show. Moreover, Playtech announced that it will be developing more games based on the Millionaire brand.
