Playtech Launches Dedicated Live Casino Studio for Sky Vegas

Playtech, one of the world’s most influential providers of live dealer games for online casinos, has announced the launch of a dedicated live casino studio for Sky Vegas, the casino brand that is operated by Sky Betting and Gaming.

This new exclusive studio is located in Riga, where Playtech have developed a state-of-the-art production facility for live dealer games. For now, Sky Vegas will feature just two live casino titles from Playtech: Live Roulette and Live All Bets Blackjack, both allowing an unlimited number of players to enjoy the games at the same time. The live casino at Sky Vegas will also offer a dedicated “Spin A Win” promotion from Playtech Live.

The two companies had been working together for some time now, as Playtech’s video slots have been featured in the U.K. company’s various online casino brands. Sky Betting and Gaming is owned by Flutter Entertainment, which also operates Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Casino.

In March, Playtech and Flutter Entertainment signed an extension to their already existing agreement, adding live dealer games to the list of products delivered by the supplier for the casino operator.

Sam Downey, Gaming Commercial Director at Sky Betting and Gaming, described the partnership between his company and Playtech as a “strong collaboration” and added that they were “thrilled to be extending our live casino offering across more of our brands with the innovative and entertainment-led products and services that Playtech offer.”

Edo Haitin, the Chief Executive Officer of Playtech Live, revealed that his company gave extra attention to the Sky Vegas studio, bringing it to “the highest level currently offered by the Live industry today.”

Earlier this year, Playtech reached a similar agreement with 888, one of biggest online betting and gaming companies. This deal added several live casino games and random number generator games provided by Playtech into the offering at 888casino. Playtech also agreed to set up a bespoke 888 branded studio in its facility in Riga, Latvia.

Playtech was founded in 1999 and has grown into a powerful provider of video slots and live dealer games for online casinos. The company has around 6,400 employees across 24 countries at the moment, and its products can be found in many of the largest online casinos in the world. Playtech’s live casino titles are currently broadcast from studios in Latvia, Estonia, the Philippines and Romania.
